Matthew F. Howeth
The keys to a successful transaction are preparation, diligence, and cooperation. Matthew F. Howeth applies this approach to every matter to ensure the client experience is seamless and successful.
Mr. Howeth concentrates his practice on residential and commercial real estate matters. He focuses his efforts on representing individuals and corporations and works tirelessly to ensure that his clients are well-protected and well-advised from the outset of the transaction, through the closing, and beyond.
Prior to founding Howeth Law, Mr. Howeth garnered transactional and litigation experience in the public and private sectors. In addition to his prior real estate experience, he worked for a plaintiff’s firm in the Chicago area and litigated with the Cook County State’s Attorney’s office. These experiences have allowed Mr. Howeth to shape the transactional process in a manner that steers clients away from exposure to litigation. By evaluating the total picture, he can provide thorough counsel that leaves clients feeling reassured at the culmination of the transaction.
Mr. Howeth is a Lake County native and an Indiana University alumnus, graduating with a degree in financial management.
